Support Me

Help me create my educational episodes, so I can continue to share important topics on my YouTube channel and podcast, in photography and video. To do so, become a Patreon supporter, buy me a coffee, or help me by buying me a gift from a list of wishes. If you can’t afford to help me out, there are non-monetary ways to support me.

No matter what way you support me, know that I am deeply grateful for your contribution. It means everything to me that you value my creations enough to support me.

What the Duck?

To keep the written version of these articles free of swear-words and anything else that might offend people, some words were replaced with similarly sounding animals. I’m sure you can figure out what the words are supposed to mean. In my videos, I don’t give a clam if I swear up a ducking storm.

Sources

I study Marine Ecology at the University of Hamburg, Germany, so a lot of this is knowledge from hours of research and sitting through lecture after lecture. Going through the lecture slides from school involves a lot of fact checking, as a lot of what we learn is pretty outdated. So, all semester, I google things to death, read research papers and articles, ask a million questions, and discuss topics with friends.

Where the source isn’t my own knowledge or an unidentifiable source from hours of late-night knowledge hunts, I’ve linked them in the text.
