Reading: They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
Two young men get the alert that they are dying that day and spend the day together, helping each other live their last day. The plot twist in this one is unconventional and excellent.
Reading: Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng
One of the rare cases where the TV show is better than the book. Nonetheless, an entertaining read, though I'm sure the TV show fleshed out the characters where the book was lacking.
Reading: One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston
I wanted another Red, White, and Royal Blue, so I set myself up for disappointment. Nonetheless, a decent read with cute side characters, though with a too convenient plot and protagonists that are hard to care for.
Reading: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I should have been warned by the subtitle, "TikTok Made Me Buy It." Any book that TikTok hypes seems a bad fit for me. If this hadn't been a book club read, I wouldn't have finished it.
