Dreading my own hair: DIY Dreadlocks

I sectioned my own hair and gave myself dreadlocks over the course of a couple of days. Dreading my own hair has definitely been an experience but I'm really glad I did it. Everything hurt when I was done. I used the twist-and-rip method to form the locs in straight hair (my hair is very thin and only wavy, so not ideal) and palm-rolled them to get rid of the frizz. In this video, I explain why I got dreadlocks as a caucasian woman and show the process of dreading my own hair from start to finish. If I can do this, you can dread your own hair, too.
